What to Expect After Your Baby's Vaccine and How to Care for Them
Who says little ones aren’t busy? The rain might be pouring outside, but my little world indoors is full of action! I’m 2 years old, but my days are already packed with cuddles, story time, yummy food, and the tiniest adventures that keep everyone around me on their toes. Monsoon days mean more time indoors, but trust me, there’s never a dull moment. A day in my life is filled with giggles, mischief, and a whole lot of cuteness. So, settle in for a good read!
Lots of cuddles and kisses start my morning. The monsoon is at its peak, and it seems to rain almost every time I wake up. I'm all cozy in my soft blanket when Mumma comes to wake me with her warm hugs. She opens the window to let in fresh air, which wakes me up feeling giggly and refreshed.
The first thing I always do is take a sip of water from my Tiny Tamba copper bottle, it’s like my little morning tonic. Early morning, my body needs a little hydration to wake up all my tiny cells and start my day. Then I’m set to stretch, yawn, and freshen up.
After my morning cuddles, it’s time for my favourite ritual, the massage time! I use my ECOCERT-certified organic coconut oil (it’s got a pure smell of coconut!) and gently rub it on my arms, legs, and tummy. I love this part, it makes me feel so calm and relaxed. Once I’m all eased up, it’s time for some splashy and bubbly bathtime!
I apply my tear-free baby body wash all over my body without any ouch in my eyes, and it has also got Ayurvedic herbs and oil. Bathtime is always fun when I’m using my baby body wash specially made for me and my soft skin. Ohh, now my skin feels so soft, fresh and happy, just like me.
After my bath, it’s time to take you through my little GRWM moment! I sit all wrapped in my fluffy towel and bring out my favorite face cream. It’s so soft and light that it just makes my cheeks feel soft and supple all day long.
Then comes my body lotion, squish, squish! I rub it on my tiny arms and legs and ohhh they feel smooth, soft and super hydrated. My skin feels moisturized throughout the day. I smell so good after my GRWM session and look even cuter. Finally, I slip into my breathable romper, perfect for all my baby errands of the day.
By the time I’m dressed, my tummy makes a growling sound, which means it’s breakfast time! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it has to be extra special for me. I’ve got some oats along with mashed banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon in it. Mmm-mmm, so good!
Oh, wait, you know what makes it even more fun? My owl-shaped bamboo plate! It’s super cute, just like me. Now my tummy is full, my plate is empty and I’m all set for some playtime adventures.
Playtime is the favorite part of my day. As it's raining outside, I’m not allowed to go out to play, that makes me a little sad. I'm staying indoors with my mumma and papa while she reads me stories and fun poems, and sometimes we sing rhymes together. I love listening to her voice.
Then come my quiet-time activities, such as stacking blocks, little puzzles, and just doodling with colors. Bit by bit, I’m getting better and it’s helping me improve my creativity and makes me smart and intelligent. Yaayyy, every day feels like I’m learning something new while having lots of fun!
I’m all tired after so much running and playing and my tummy is calling out for some good food! So, I sit comfortably in my high chair and get ready for lunch. We’ve got some yummy vegetable khichdi with broccoli, carrots, peas and even sweet potatoes in it. Looks yummmm! It’s warm, soft and so tasty.
My meal is served in my Nanhi Dawat kids' brass dining set. I have my own little bowl and plate, just my size and my style! It even has a small glass to sip water from because drinking water is a must. My body needs hydration, so I drink in between bites. The smooth brass feels so nice, and everything looks golden and bright, which makes mealtime extra fun. Now my tummy is all full and happy!
Bye, I’m off to get a good afternoon nap because I’m tired and sleepy after a good meal and all the fun activities. Mumma puts me to sleep comfortably, pulls the curtains, covers me with a soft, cozy blanket, and sings a lullaby that makes me fall asleep quickly.
I don’t like to sleep though, but it’s become a part of my daily routine. While I’m asleep, I allow her time to rest, as she’s after me throughout the day because I’m a little naughty most of the time.
By the time I get up from my peaceful afternoon nap, it’s already evening. I’m feeling fresh and giggly, and I also got some extra cuddles. Mumma wiped my face and hands with a Neer 99.9% Water Wipe and changed my clothes to go out for an evening walk.
The rain has almost stopped, so I’m heading out for a walk with Mumma and Papa. But, very important, it’s monsoon, which means itchy mosquito bites. Ewww, I hate them! So, I stuck repellent patches on my pants, and I’m all protected from tiny bugs. Now I can move around comfortably!
After my evening walk, my shoes are all muddy and my feet are all tired. I wash my hands and feet and play with Papa while she cooks dinner. The smell of yummy food is spread all over the house and my tummy says, I’m hungry, I need some food.
When it’s time to eat, I sit at the table with my special mat and coaster set. My plate is fixed on the mat, and my little glass stays safe on the coaster, no spills, no mess. For dinner, I have some healthy dal khichdi with a little mashed paneer and veggies. I’m also starting to eat by myself, and Mumma and Papa smile proudly every time they watch me. I’m loved and appreciated for my little wins. Dinner is my happy family time!
After a whole day of running, playing, and giggling, my skin says, “I need extra love!” That’s why I never miss my secret nighttime routine. You know what? I never skip it because that’s what keeps my skin soft and moisturized and lets me wake up with that happy, hydrated glow.
I start with my gentle kids face wash, it cleans away all the dirt and sweat and makes me feel fresh-fresh. Then comes my favorite step, the best baby face cream, making my cheeks feel soft, moisturized, and so squishy-squashy. After that, I change into my comfy nightwear and take a few sips of water from my Tiny Tamba sipper to end the day feeling hydrated.
And then comes the best part, storytime with Dadi. Her soft voice makes me smile and slowly my eyes start to close. After a day full of adventures, this routine makes me feel calm, relaxed and super cozy. That’s my little bedtime secret to end my day with lots of self-pampering.
Coconut oil is a good source of nourishment for kids' growing skin. Using an organic coconut oil on their body for daily massage can help in relaxing their muscles and acts as a natural moisturizer, keeping the skin soft and supple. Baby Forest coconut oil is made keeping the little ones in mind, made with ECOCERT-certified organic ingredients and wood cold-pressed to preserve its natural nutrients. It’s lightweight, non-sticky and absorbs easily into the skin.
Cleaning your Baby Forest Mat and Coaster Set is simple and gentle. Always wash under normal running water to remove food particles and stains. Handwashing is recommended using a mild detergent, and for the best care, you can use our Mridul Poshaak Liquid Detergent for baby’s clothes. Avoid machine washing, ironing on the laminated side, or drying under direct sunlight, as these may damage the finish. With proper care, your set stays fresh, neat and long-lasting.
