An Ideal Hair Care For Babies- What You Must Know?

New parenting is a roller coaster ride of emotions and learning about things we never heard about before. The concern and nervousness grow twice whenever there's something unusual regarding the babies. Hair care and its transformations in a newborn or a toddler are one of them. It's panicking for a mother's heart when the baby sheds their hair or the patches from the cradle cap won't leave the layer of their head. Well, there's nothing to worry about for any of those reasons. We have listed some essential tips, facts, and must-haves for the ideal hair care for your tiny tots.

Is Your Newborn's Hair Normal?

Ceasing the talks about what is normal hair in a newborn- there is no normal! At the time of birth, a baby might have feathery hair, thick locks, or no hair. And the good thing is everything is completely normal. The ones with thick lanugo hair (hair before birth) might shed their hair later. Bald babies will directly grow their vellus hair (hair after shedding lanugo hair), and babies with thin hair may also shed or change the texture of their locks. These differences exist because of various degrees of hormones and genetics present in a mother's womb. Babies adjust to the natural pace of their own hormones once they are all by themselves as newborns in the world. That is why their hair's color changes and appearance occur after a few months and even years.

Hair- routine should not be over-drying. A baby's hair is five times more delicate than an adult's. To take the best care of those tiny locks doesn't mean using more products. For babies, less is more. But keeping the scalp clean and healthy is essential for robust hair growth. Inspired by this idea, the Following are the steps for a simple and crucial ideal hair care:

Oil Massage

A Baby's scalp is one of the most delicate parts of the body. It requires adequate nourishment to prevent the formation of baby dandruff. Oil also makes it easy to untangle tiny knots formed in hair due to rolling their head around a lot. At last, you wouldn't want to give one of those painful combings like an adult's to the tiny delicate being. And if you are wondering about cleaning the cradle cap flakes, moisture from a massage is an effortless way to remove them too! Those regular gentle Champis are essential to improve blood circulation and help the baby to relax and sleep soundly. The oil should be soft, enriching, and natural without any added aroma. The intense fragrance never benefits the baby. Qualities of coconut, sesame, olive oil, and seed extracts constitute our Baby Forest Nanhi Champi Baby Hair Oil. It is derma safe, cruelty-free, and vegan oil that will nurture your baby's scalp with the goodness of Ayurveda.

Washing

How to wash your baby's hair?

  1. Firstly, prepare a bath for your baby. Put everything you need so you don't have to leave the baby in between.
  2. Check the temperature of the water. The ideal temperature is 98 degrees Fahrenheit. The easy way to make sure is by putting your wrist in water.
  3. Provide support to the bay's neck and head by holding it.
  4. Gently wet the scalp using a small cup or hand before applying shampoo.
  5. Take a small amount of gentle and chemical-free shampoo and firmly apply it in a circular motion. We recommend you use Baby forest Nikhrae Kesh shampoo.
  6. Rinse off the shampoo by using a small cup.
  7. Pleasantly pat the baby's head using a soft towel.

Note: Wash baby's head only two times a week. The frequent head wash makes the scalp dry.

Combing

Many people have no idea what role the right comb plays in the hair care of a baby. Combing encourages the porous openings of the scalp. Indeed, we shouldn't rely on an ordinary comb to reach the pores of the delicate scalp. A right comb enriches sebum production for keeping the scalp moisturized naturally. Hence, it is not just an instrument to set the baby's hair but has a role to play. Baby Forest Sunhere Resham is a set of two naturally crafted hair combs. It will be wise and a two-in-one purchase for your newborn, and when after nine months, they will be little grown-ups. The gentleness of natural hair sources extra softness in our infant comb. For kids, fine-toothed beechwood bristles comprise our essential collection. Both the combs are finely made to foster a healthy, clean, and relaxing combing tradition.

Hair care is not just limited to daily routine activity. It sets its roots in bonding a child and mother/parent. Only a parent can describe the joy of bathing and dressing their babies daily. It is the initial golden years when you do everything for them until they are all mature tiny tots doing their routines themselves. We are here to ensure the best in that! - From the Soham of Ayurveda.
